[IMPORTANT] Schooling in New School Year

Regarding resuming education at school, Minato City Office has stated the policies as follows. We appreciate your understanding.
(1) The school will be closed until May 6 (Wed)
(2) Opening ceremony will be held on April 6 (Mon)
(3) Entrance ceremony on April 6 (Mon)
(4) The school will provide the students with opportunities to study during the temporary closure, such as online assignments and distributing materials at school. Online materials will also be distributed to students who wish to study with them.
(5) No schooling in the week of April 6 (Mon). We are planning temporary schooling (temporary, one day attendance) after the 13th (Mon).
(6) The school will continue to provide its space to students who have been registered.

Based on the policy of Minato City Board of Education, the opening ceremony in Reiwa 2 will be held as follows.
1. Date and Time
Date: Monday, April 6, 2020
Time:
Grade 2- 8:10
Grade 3, 4- 8:15
Grade 5, 6- 8:20
Opening ceremony starts at 8:30
Dismissal around 9:00
2. Place: Azabu Elementary School Schoolyard
3. What to bring:
School cap
Handbag (or school bag) ※ textbooks will be distributed
Shoes in gymnasium (in case of rain)
4. About COVID-19:
・ In case of fever 37.5 or higher and/or cold symptoms such as cough on the day of the opening ceremony, you may stay at home. In case of absence, please let us know by contact book or telephone.
・ The children are required to wear a face mask (those who do not have one will be given at school).
・Health check card will be distributed. Please start filling in health information (temperature, symptoms) from the night of the opening ceremony (Mon, April 6).
5. Schooling after April 7 (Tue)
・ Temporary closure until Wednesday, May 6, according to the policy of the Minato City Board of Education.
No school between April 7 (Tue) and 10 (Fri). Assignments will be given from the homeroom teacher. We will inform you of school attendance (temporary, one day attendance) after the 13th (Mon) as soon as it is decided.
6. Registering emergency mailing system
Regarding emergency mailing system, all registration information for this year will be deleted on April 9 (Thu). Please re-register in the new year’s system from 9:00am on April 10 (Fri).
